Terms of Use

Last updated: October 31, 2026

This English version is a translation provided for convenience. The Portuguese version is the legally binding one and prevails in case of any difference.

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of Spotlib, available at spotlib.net and app.spotlib.net (the "Service").

By creating an account or using the Service, you declare that you have read and agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What Spotlib is

Spotlib is a poker study platform that offers a library of preflop tournament (MTT) spots already calculated with solvers, an explorer for the decision trees of those spots and on-demand services, such as solving hands sent by users and nodelock requests.

Spotlib is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by any poker site or by the developers of the solver software used to produce the content. The brands mentioned belong to their respective owners.

2. Who can use it

  • You must be 18 years of age or older to create an account.
  • You are responsible for checking whether playing poker and using study tools are allowed in your jurisdiction and under the rules of the sites where you play.
  • The information provided at sign-up must be true and kept up to date.

3. Account and access

  • The account is personal and non-transferable. Do not share your login and password.
  • You are responsible for all activity carried out with your account. If you suspect misuse, let us know through the contact form.
  • We may limit simultaneous or unusual access to protect the account and the content.

4. Team accounts

On team plans, the team administrator purchases the plan, invites and removes members up to the contracted user limit and can follow the members' study activity within the Service (for example, drill sessions). When the team plan ends or when a member is removed, the access that member obtained through the team also ends.

5. Nature of the content

  • The solutions are study material. They are calculated with models, assumptions (payout structures, ranges, bet sizes, bounty estimates) and solver approximations, and may contain inaccuracies.
  • We do not guarantee financial results, improved performance or that a solution is the best decision in a real situation.
  • Spotlib is not responsible for losses in games, tournaments or bets, nor for decisions made based on the content.

6. Prohibited use

When using the Service, you agree not to:

  • use Spotlib as an aid in real time while playing. This use is prohibited by most poker sites and may get your account on those sites banned;
  • share your account or resell, redistribute, publish or make available to third parties solutions, ranges, images or any content from the Service;
  • copy the library in an automated way (scraping, bots, crawlers) or try to extract the database;
  • try to access restricted areas, get around plan limits or interfere with how the Service works;
  • post comments that are offensive, discriminatory, illegal, spam or that contain third parties' personal data.

7. Intellectual property

The organization of the library, the texts, images, tables, software and the Spotlib brand belong to Spotlib or are used with permission. The subscription gives you a personal, limited, non-exclusive and revocable license to access the content for your own study while your plan is active.

8. Hands and files you send

  • When you send a hand (images, history or tournament data), you declare that you have the right to share it.
  • You authorize us to process the hand to solve it and to include the resulting spot in the library, available to other users, free of charge and for an indefinite period.
  • Before publishing, we remove your name, username and nickname. The spot appears in the library anonymously, with no link to your account visible to other users.
  • Delivery times for hands and nodelocks are estimates and may vary depending on the queue and the complexity of the spot.

9. Plans and payment

  • Plans are billed on a recurring basis, monthly or annually, according to the option chosen, and renew automatically until cancelled.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. Spotlib does not store your full card details.
  • Prices may change. A change only applies from the next renewal and will be announced in advance.
  • If a renewal payment fails, access may be suspended until it is settled.
  • The free plan has no charge. It gives access to the spot of the day, in the preflop solver only, and to importing up to 2 hands a day into the Replayer. The free plan limits may change.
  • Hands imported on the free plan, and the share links created for them, are automatically deleted 48 hours after import and cannot be recovered. If you subscribe before then, they are kept.

10. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from the "My account" area in the app. Cancellation stops future renewals, and access continues until the end of the period already paid for.

11. Credits

  • Credits are used for on-demand services, such as solving hands.
  • Credits do not expire and stay in your account for as long as it exists.
  • Credits cannot be transferred to another account or exchanged for money, except in the withdrawal case described in section 13.
  • If we cannot deliver a service paid for with credits, the credits used are returned to your account.

12. Nodelocks

  • A nodelock can only be requested on hands solved for you, within 30 days after the solution is delivered. After that period, the hand no longer accepts nodelock requests.
  • Hands solved with credits from packs that include nodelock come with 1 included nodelock. It is valid only for that hand, within the same 30-day period. If it is not used in time, it is lost: it does not come back as a credit or move to another hand.
  • In all other cases, including the second nodelock on the same hand, each request costs 1 credit.
  • A request can lock more than one range of the same hand and counts as a single nodelock.
  • If we cannot deliver a nodelock, the credit or included nodelock used is returned to you.

13. Right of withdrawal and refunds

You can cancel any purchase (subscription or credit pack) within 7 (seven) business days of the payment date and get a full refund, under article 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code (Código de Defesa do Consumidor). For credit packs, the full refund applies if the credits have not been used yet.

To request a refund, use the contact form with your account email. The amount is returned through the same payment method used for the purchase. After that period, periods already paid for are not refunded, including on the annual plan, and access continues until the end of the contracted period.

14. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, especially section 6, without refunding amounts paid. You can request the deletion of your account at any time, as described in the Privacy Policy.

15. Service availability

We work to keep the Service available, but it may be offline for maintenance, technical failures or reasons beyond our control. We may change, add or remove features and library content.

16. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Spotlib's liability for damages related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the event. Nothing in these Terms removes rights guaranteed by the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Relevant changes will be announced by email or within the app, and we may ask for a new acceptance. The date of the version in force appears at the top of this page.

18. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Brazilian law. The courts of the consumer's place of residence are chosen to settle any dispute, as provided by the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code.
